Questions agents ask

Anything else, get in touch.

Who pays for the inventory and check-out?

The landlord or agent. Under the Tenant Fees Act 2019, tenants in England can't be charged for inventories or check-outs.

What training do you have?

I've completed the Association of Independent Inventory Clerks (AIIC) Become an Inventory Professional course.

Can you do a check-out on another clerk's inventory?

Yes. Send the original inventory when you book and the check-out will be compared against it.

Can you collect keys from our branch?

Yes. I can collect from your office, from the property or wherever suits, and return them the same way.

Do you work evenings or weekends?

Yes. I work seven days a week and can go early or late when a job needs it, so a big check-out at the end of the day isn't a problem.

How do you price regular work?

Agencies sending regular instructions get agency rates based on volume and property mix. Ask for a quote.

Want to see a sample report first?

Ask and I'll send a full sample inventory and check-out so your team can see the format.
